JAYDE WANG

2017-2018 Recruitment Officer
School: Irvington High School

I joined TBC summer before high school as a way to learn and practice colorguard before school started. However, as time went on, I realized that this was an opportunity to push myself in ways I haven’t before. Not only is TBC a great way to practice and perfect your skills, it teaches you patience and dedication. Admittedly, practices can be tiring and sometimes frustrating, but seeing everything come together is extremely gratifying. I will forever cherish the memories I have made during my time with TBC. I have met so many new friends and have gotten closer to many of my friends. As an officer, I have learned so much about time management and collaboration. There is a lot of work that goes into helping TBC run smoothly and we as officers have to work together to ensure the success of TBC. I have learned so much about stepping out of my comfort zone and I know I have grown so much during my time as an officer.
