Colin Apperson

Caption Head 2022-2023
Fremont Site

Colin Apperson is the current Color Guard Director of Armijo High School (Fairfield), Inderkum High School (Sacramento), and Crystal Middle School (Suisun City). She is also an instructor for the WGI Independent World Class Winter Guard In Motion Performance Ensemble, and a color guard adjudicator with the Northern California Band Association. Colin has performed with the San Jose Raiders Winter Guard and the Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps.

Ben Wilkinson

Assistant Director 2022-2023
Caption Head 2018-2022
Fremont Site

Ben has been coaching, designing, and consulting for attention-grabbing, award-winning shows for numerous schools and independent programs for the last 15 years. His instructing experience include: Benicia, Fremont, Vanden, Archbishop Riordan, Franklin, John Swett, “…of essence”, and San Mateo.

Victor Ramos

Tech 2022-2023
Fremont Site

Victor Ramos is the current Color Guard Director of Franklin High School (Elk Grove, Sacramento) and has assisted other groups from Crystal Middle school (Suisun City), Antioch High School (Antioch), Armijo High school (Fairfield), and many more. Victor started Color Guard when he was a sophomore at Armijo High School (2015-2018) after he graduated he has gotten to perform with InMotion Performance Ensemble 2019 (Fairfield), Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets 2019 (Santa Clara), and Imbue Winter Guard 2020 (Modesto).

Lila Ehling

Eternal Regiment Director (Fremont)

Lila Ehling is a freshman at Irvington High School. This is her third year at TBC. She played the trumpet for five years and currently does color guard. Her hobbies include making jewelry, hanging out with friends, and dancing. If she had three wishes, she would want to be able to travel many parts of the world, find a career and future she is truly happy with, and to never have health/skin problems. A fun fact about Lila is that she dances her heart out when she is alone, but will never fully dance in front of someone. She is also a native Japanese speaker, but has always had trouble when learning to write kanji. She goes to Japan every couple years to visit family, and enjoys the minimal time she can spend there to the fullest extent.

Vishnu Nair

Executive Director of Auxiliary Programs

Vishnu Nair is a senior at Mission San Jose High School. He plays trumpet, and has been with TBC for two years. He likes mixed martial arts, dancing, and coding. If he were granted three wishes, he would wish for the ability to control probabilities, the ability to know the answer to everything, past, present, and future, and complete knowledge on how to use the above two abilities to their best potential for any goal. He can understand and speak 4 languages as of now and is always trying to learn more. A fun fact about Vishnu is that he is able to fall asleep very quickly and easily wherever and whenever he wants to.

We are extremely excited to have such a strong team of instructors to work with our members. Our program will be competing in the CCGC circuit.
