Introduction

Greetings, TBC members! This issue of our newsletter introduces our upcoming events and wraps up this past quarter. We would like to thank all of our wonderful members and parents for their participation and tremendous support towards our organization.

 

Upcoming Fall Parade Sign-ups

We are happy to announce that Fall Parade sign-ups are now open! We hope you will join us for the Niles Festival of Lights Parade (11/29) and the Hollister Lights on Parade (11/30). This is a great opportunity to hang out with friends, earn service awards, and share your love for music one step at a time. Sign up here!

 

 

 

Tri-City Winter Guard

High School/College level Group

This year TBC is proud to once again offer the Tri-City Winter Guard (TCWG) program under the direction of Ben Wilkinson, Fou Saelee, Colin Apperson and Jazz Legaspi. This team of world-class instructors will be leading our independent guard that will be competing in the WGI and CCGC circuits. TCWG was formed to address the lack of independent guards in Northern California and features talented students from across Northern California. If interested, sign up here!

 

 

Eternal Regiment - Junior High Winter Guard

Register for our championship winning junior high winter guard unit! This program is open to all students, boys and girls, grades 6-8. We encourage all students who are interested in this competitive dance unit to try it out. Our instructors are some of the best in the state, and we are excited to make this opportunity available to you. For more information, check out our registration form here!

 

 

Tri-City Percussion

TBC’s winter percussion unit, Tri-City Percussion, is advancing to WGI Independent World Class this year and will compete at WGI Merced regional and WGI World Championships in Dayton. This group of percussionists is taught by some of the top DCI techs and instructors. Auditions are October 13th and 27th from 9 AM - 6 PM at the Mission San Jose Community Park. TBC Special Needs Program

TBC is once again partnering with Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN) to have a Special Needs winter program! Interested members can sign up here. High school students can also sign up to be volunteer instructors as well! More information and sign up information can be found here.

 

 

TBC Pasta Feed

This year, Tri-City Band Corps will once again be hosting a Pasta Feed on Sunday, November 24th from 5:30-9 pm at the Fremont Teen Center! We will have all-you-can-eat pasta, desserts, and boba! Tickets are $15, so be sure to buy a ticket from any TBC officer. Feel free to email us to purchase a ticket as well.

 

 

TBC Fall Fundraisers

TBC will once again be participating in the Scrip fundraising program this year! By purchasing gift cards through our Scrip program, retailers will give a portion of the proceeds to TBC without costing you a cent! Scrip can be purchased from any TBC Officer. Participating retailers can be seen here. If you are interested, payments can also be made digitally through Venmo to @tricitybandcorps, and order forms can be emailed to tbc@tricitybandcorps.org by November 1st at the latest.
