Quarter One

Newsletter

Greetings, TBC members! This issue of our newsletter introduces our upcoming events and wraps up this past quarter. As the first quarter of our 2017-18 year comes to a close, we would like to thank all of our wonderful members and parents for their tremendous support and participation towards our organization.

This year, Tri-City Band Corps is hosting its first ever Taco Feed on Sunday, November 19 from 6-9 pm at the Centerville Community Center! We will have all-you-can-eat tacos, burritos, nachos, and more! Tickets are $15, and they come with the boba bar, so be sure to buy a ticket from any TBC officer!

Scottish Games

This year, TBC was invited to perform at the annual Scottish Games over Labor Day weekend! During the performance, TBC was honored  with the official invitation to attend the Rome New Year’s Day Parade 2018 from Mr. Bob Bone, President of Youth Music of the World. TBC will participate in its second international performance tour in the Rome New Year’s Day Parade from December 27th, 2017 to January 5th, 2018. In addition to the New Year’s Parade, TBC will also be performing at landmarks in Rome and holding a holiday concert performance!

Newark Days Parade

Every year in September, various Fremont Unified schools such as Mission, American, and Washington perform at the Newark Days Parade as a way to kick off their fall parade seasons and at the Newark Carnival.

Salinas Parade

The TBC Royal Regiment did a magnificent job performing at the Salinas parade, receiving first place in their competition. Prior to the parade, they enjoyed the annual bonding at Santa Cruz Boardwalk and the Pizza Factory.

Festival of Globe Parade

On August 13th, the Royal Regiment paraded down Paseo Padre with a group boasting 90 members. Despite the heat, they performed a stellar performance after another year at the Festival of Globe Parade. Afterwards, they concluded their eventful day with a bonding at SF Boudin for lunch.
